Assignment Capsule Be a part of an exciting and innovative marketing team - supporting business strategy and vision. Humana/CarePlus is seeking a Marketing Consultant to manage and maintain the development and dissemination of marketing materials, tools and resources for our various sales channels; identify cost and process efficiencies and new opportunities to effectively communicate our brand promise via our collateral materials. Must thrive in creative yet deadline-driven environment and enjoy working in a fast paced, ever-changing industry.

  • Manage creative development, production and dissemination of marketing and sales enrollment related materials

  • Develop tracking systems to understand, forecast and predict usage of sales kit materials and ensure printed inventory levels support the market needs & goals

  • Manage inventory levels of printed materials, ensure present and future material availability at all times while reducing waste

  • Fully manage printing and postage budget and identify opportunity for cost savings

  • Manage project schedules and meet deadlines: set, synchronize, and drive schedules in cooperation with advertising agency, internal team, and print vendors

  • Establish working relationship with sales markets to understand specific opportunities and ensure materials are developed accordingly

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for printed materials; keeping the team abreast of new and successful direct mail and printing formats

  • Fully manage direct mail programs

  • Ensure quality and efficiency standards are being met

  • Develop a working knowledge of the company, its products, the healthcare industry and the regulatory agencies that govern us in order to develop effective communications Key Competencies

    Role Essentials

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Minimum 3 years work experience in marketing related field or Healthcare/Medicare industry experience

  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook)

  • Ability to work under minimal supervision and autonomously

  • Capability to brainstorm and identify opportunities for improved efficiencies

  • Strong attention to detail as well as time-management and problem-solving skills

  • Strong project management, organization and planning skills

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to evaluate, prioritize and track complex projects Role Desirables

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising or a related communications field

  • Experience working in the printing industry or with print vendors

  • Results and people-oriented, but have sound judgment ability to balance other business considerations

  • Excellent presentation skills
