Aboveall, we believe that collaboration is the best way forward.Primary ResponsibilitiesHDR currently has an opening for a CAD Technician/Designer to join our teamin Denver, CO. The primary duties of the CAD Technician/Designer, iswith occasional assistance from Project Engineers and Managers, producesdrawings, layouts, sketches, maps, and graphic representations of landdevelopment engineering (site, geometric, grading, utilities androadways) designs using computer-aided drafting software. Requires a goodworking knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS. Work may also entailfield investigations and inspections. QualificationsRequired Qualifications* Associates or technical school degree is preferred.* Experience in civil design with CAD programs is preferred.* Certifications in use of Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and GIS are preferred.* Knowledge of procedures for the production of design developments andconstruction documents.* Ability to support multiple complex and time sensitive projectseffectively. Ability to work in conjunction with the CAD design leader inexecuting the broad direction from Project Engineer or Project Manager onvarious design projects.* Identify and resolve design issues effectively and efficiently.* Able to work under and meet tight deadlines.* Ability to interact, collaborate and communicate (verbally andwritten) with design and construction teams in a positive and proactivemanner.* Self-starter and willingness to take initiative.Why HDRAt HDR, we know work isn't only about who you work for; it's alsoabout what you do and how you do it.
