We are looking for a Portfolio Revenue Manager who will work with us as part of the India, Middle East, and Africa IHG Revenue (Revenue Management for Hire) team to collaborate up with hotels to drive strategies, optimise revenues, leverage performance, and deliver results primarily within our South West Asia Hotels portfolio (can be scaled to rest of the region as required), This amazing IHG India Corporate role is based out of Chennai

With your specialized revenue management knowledge, skills, and experience, you will lead the hotel portfolio by providing functional and operational direction, be the key driver of revenue generation data analysis to create tactical and strategic initiatives which will enable us at IHG to achieve superior results.
You will analyze data in-depth, review competitor sets, understand market reach and penetration, support and direct Sales and Marketing, New Hotel Opening teams, and other stakeholders by making recommendations to improve performance on financial returns as well as forecasting and budgeting. All of this will be executed with IHG, our owners and our guests at the heart of what we aim to achieve.
The ideal candidate will have a collaborative approach and partnership mind set - ability to build strong relationships across many stakeholders that is well respected by IHG colleagues.
You will be confident, have a drive for results whilst keeping commercially aware of the latest trends and updates within the industry. Demonstrate an ability to be analytical and be an effective communicator who demonstrates logical and critical thinking. You will be self-motivated and have the ability to work to tight deadlines alongside being strong in strategic planning. You must be able to handle multiple tasks in a demanding, fast-paced work environment. Finally, you must have a proven ability to work effectively across a matrix/virtual team.
This role reports directly to the Revenue Performance Director South West Asia
Educated to degree level or equivalent
Master’s Degree or Post Graduation in Sales and Marketing, Revenue Management, Hospitality or related field is desirable
At least 8 years’ experience in revenue management with at least 2-3 years in a cluster/area environment
Previous experience with an international hotel operator is desirable
Experience of Leading and managing teams
Personal belief in guest service and quality
Experience of Conflict management is desirable
Proven knowledge of revenue management software systems like Optims, Ideas, RateGain, Perform and Price Optimisation
Advanced understanding of Yield management
Experience of working within a complex business with a range of stakeholders
Experience working with international brands would be an advantage
Advanced Excel user
Excellent report writing skills
Excellent presentation skills
