Summary: Support Sales Account Managers to generate sales of Company products and services. Specifically, responsible for day to day activities to insure customer satisfaction in regards to all activities around quoting new products/ project management and related processes. This role will engage in both customer interaction and internal interaction in order to resolve issues and build strong relationships with both stakeholders.

Essential Functions: 1. Analyzes the Customer Company and blue prints to determine if the work fits Company and provides a quality product to that customer. 2. Brings engineering support to customer to help develop products with scope of BTD capabilities. 3. Communicates with the customer on the price and information needed about the quote. Follows up on quote to see if it is competitive with this project. 4. Analyzes job history to determine new prices are available and checks on job performance. 5. Travels to customers to communicate Company capabilities and access customer needs on an as needed basis. 6. Maintains current knowledge of all manufacturing process systems, equipment and capabilities and keeps customers informed of new developments in which they have an interest. 7. Monitors and reports competitive activity and provides sales and marketing feedback and direction to the Account Manager. 8. Establishes and maintains favorable work relationships with customers and prospects and develops a good image of, and customer confidence in, the Company as a favored vendor as part of overall sales strategy.
Requirements Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering/technical discipline and a minimum four (4) years’ directly related experience. Or at least 8 years of experience without degree.
Experience and Skills Required: 1. Must understand technology and Company products extremely well. 2. Must have experience/training in computer technology including familiarity with MS Office, Axapta experience a plus 3. Must have developed good/key relationships with internal and external customers. 4. Must have demonstrated the ability to seek out and identify new opportunities within assigned accounts. 5. Must have the ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing. 6. Must be capable of working with a high degree of personal discipline. 7. Must have potential sales leadership qualities.
