General Summary….

FedEx Supply Chain has an immediate opening for a Human Resources Compliance Specialist at our corporate office in Cranberry, PA to be responsible for developing and implementing internal controls and evaluating the adherence to established internal control processes. This role will work with the Senior Compliance role to evaluate existing and new HR compliance programs and will manage the existing compliance programs including Affirmative Action, background checks and drug testing along with the vendor relationships.

This Position Will Be Responsible For…..

Actively assess, prioritize and develop internal controls, compliance programs and procedures to ensure FedEx Supply Chain operations is in compliance with federal, state and local HR related legal/regulatory policy and audit requirements.

Inventory risk and compliance obligations and document them within a version control framework.

Monitor business and risk trends relevant to the organization and proactively create risk mitigation plans.

Develop communication and education materials to facilitate delivery of all new regulations and ensure compliance across FedEx Supply Chain operations and departments, mitigating potential risk.

Evaluate internal control effectiveness and create remediation process for potential deficiencies.

Conduct on-site and virtual compliance audits, draft audit reports detailing methodology, results, and remediation plans.

Follow up on corporate internal audit recommendations to assess and report implementation status.

Using an established cadence analyze Affirmative Action Plans (AAP) and design education materials for Leadership, Managers, HR Business Partners, Recruiters and other necessary parties.

Analyze and interpret reports on pay, hiring, termination, promotion and other employment activities to determine if any risks exists as it relates to protected characteristics including race, gender, age, disability and veteran status and develop training to mitigate potential risk.

Create policies and procedures, FAQs, process documentation, and other related written work to support the compliance environment.

Respond to questions from and troubleshoot program issues experienced by employees, managers, and HR.


You might be a great fit if…

Bachelor’s Degree in related field and 6 years of HR experience with 2

years of experience working in a compliance role and/or audit role where documenting controls and effectiveness was required.

In lieu of degree, high school diploma or GED and 8 years of relevant experience including audit and compliance experience.

Demonstrable knowledge of employment related regulatory matters such as Affirmative Action, OFCCP Audits, FMLA, ADAA, HIPAA, FLSA, EEO-1, VETS and other required governmental reports.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
