Teradyne Engineering Technician in Costa Rica, Costa Rica
Duties & Responsibilities:
Your primary task is to provide software applications support and assistance to our internal customers
Preparing technical documentation
Developing software solutions as part of continuous improvements to the repair operations
Regular Full Time
Position Subject to ITAR controls:
Basic Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Education Required:
Technical degree in Electronics/Computer Science or a related subject
Bachelor degree or higher in Engineering/Computer Science or a related subject (a plus)
Experience in designing and integrating software applications
Excellent computer and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in high-level programming languages such as C++/JAVA/PYTHON (a plus)
An approachable individual who prides him or herself on providing a high level of service and support.
An extroverted personality. Someone who enjoys interacting with people
Must possess the ability to analyze problems in a logical manner
Must be highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously and effectively prioritize projects and tasks.
A self-starter who is resourceful and initiates work without specific instruction
Successful candidates will have an outgoing personality and will be service oriented.
You should have some prior experience working in a technical support department – preferably with experience in diagnosing and debugging technical problems.
The job requires that you have documented practical experience in programming.
