HCA, Hospital Corporation of America Ultrasound Technol Multi Reg in Conroe, Texas


Under the direction of the Women’s Imaging Supervisor or the Imaging Center Manager, the Director of Medical Imaging, and the Staff Radiologists, the Ultrasound Technologist is responsible to safely and proficiently perform medical ultrasound imaging procedures and related patient care according to, government regulations, physician orders, policies and procedures of the Medical Imaging Department, and policies and procedures of the hospital.

This position will be responsible for the medical imaging and related care of patients ages:

  • Infancy Birth to Eighteen (18) Months

  • Toddlers Eighteen (18) Months to 3 Years

  • Preschool Age 3 to Age 6

  • School Age Age 6 to Age 12

  • Adolescent Age 12 to Age 18

  • Young Adult Age 18 to Age 40

  • Middle Age Age 40 to Age 65

  • Older Adult Age 65 and Over


    Professional registry with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (A.R.D.M.S.) . Additionally, or included therein, the Ultrasound Technologist is required to have successfully passed the RDMS Abdomen (AB) credentialing examination.

    Adequate diagnostic ultrasound experience and proven competency as determined by the Ultrasound Supervisor, Department Director, and Medical Director.

    3. Includes: Standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling. Requires the use of both legs, arms, and hands, to lift and move patients, to move and operate medical imaging equipment, and to activate equipment controls including knobs, buttons, pedals, levers, and cranks.

    4. OSHA Blood borne risk category # 1 = Frequent Exposure.
