II. _POSITION SUMMARY_:
Under the direct supervision of the Director, Cardiac Rehabilitation, the Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Rehab Unit is responsible for the provision of safe and effective care of the patient having invasive or non-invasive special procedures in the Cardiac Rehab Unit to include the immediate pre-procedure period, during the procedure, and immediately following the procedure.
III._EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS_:
A. Current licensure in Texas as a Registered Nurse.
B. Previous clinical nursing experience in cardiac cathe-terization laboratory environment desired.
C. Current verification of competency in cardiopulmonary resuscitation with ACLS required.

B. Working Hazards or Risks--routine hazards and risks in-volved in performing patient care activities, including potential exposure to infectious processes, potential exposure to hazardous substances including radiation during procedures, potential musculoskeletal injuries.
