Job Description: Work closely with and assist Program Manager and Deputy Program Manager by providing administrative support, anticipating and executing on the business needs. Must be flexible in the face of changing priorities, have excellent communication skills and the ability to interact positively with all levels within the organization including senior executives, corporate counterparts and co-workers while projecting a positive, collaborative, professional image of Harris in all exchanges.


  • Make travel arrangements including airline, hotel, rental cars and special needs

  • Create reportsincluding travel expense reporting

  • Greet visitors and coordinate their credentials for entering the facilities

  • Handles the day-to-day operation including purchase requisitions, letters, and otherdocuments, using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excelspreadsheets

  • Manage office supply inventory and process office supply orders

  • Organize meals, meeting materials and presentations for meetings

  • Schedule conference rooms and select meeting locations

  • Compile and distribute agendas and minutes of meetings

  • Maintain staff directory for the program

  • Action item tracking

  • Calendar management/coordination

  • Recommends, interprets, and/or implements internal or external administrative policies, procedures or processes

Required Experience:

  • Associate Degree with a minimum of 4 years related administrative experience

  • 4+ years of experience using Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook)

  • 4+ years of experience using Microsoft Visio and SharePoint

  • Must have a Secret Level clearance.

  • Must be able to effectively handle multiple simultaneous projects

  • Must possess the ability to work well independently and with minimal supervision and the willingness to learn new skills

This position requires the candidate to be able to obtain a secret security clearance. In order to obtain a clearance you need to be a U.S. Citizen and show proof of citizenship.
