Robert Half Office Team Facilities Assistant in Clinton Township, Michigan

Facilities Assistant Our client located in the Clinton Township area is looking for a Facilities Assistant who can work with limited supervision and provide general assistance and support services as needed. The Facilities Assistant performs various reception and administrative duties for the Facilities team. Coordinates clerical activities, requests/disseminates information on various projects, acts as liaison with the staff, vendors, and members. The Facilities Assistant responsibilities will consist of providing general Facilities support as needed, including moves and relocations by monitoring Facilities department helpdesk and interfacing with Company employees. Performs facilities work requests utilizing computer software and documenting work product. Assists team members with coordination of plumbing, HVAC, general carpentry, painting, electrical, and special projects. Provide assistance with building renovations and new equipment installations. Performs general inspections, repair and install building and support equipment as needed. Provide general facilities assistance and support services throughout sites. Maintains customer service standards, provide support for company functions and daily opening of facility in a consistent and timely manner. In preparation for daily activities for guests and staff and to ensures a welcoming, open, effective, safe morning experience for guests and staff. Identify maintenance and repair items that need to be resolved to assure long-term excellent facility and grounds care. Ensure scheduled areas are set and cleared for building use as assigned and ensure all scheduled event areas are in excellent and clean condition. Perform spot cleaning or remedial repair if needed.
