Required Skills-MUST HAVE 3-5 years of e-billing experience.

Need a e-billing specialist with knowledge of Serengeti Tracker. Previous Tracker coordinator with 3-5 years client or law firm experience required.

SUMMARY: The E-Billing Coordinator will be responsible for monitoring outside legal counsel spend via e-billing software, Serengeti Tracker. The coordinator will review timekeeper rates, establish budgets and accrual controls, alternative fee arrangements, new matters and analytical reporting. This role requires a strong legal background that will function well in a team environment. Additional responsibilities include interacting with attorneys, law firms, and relationship managers within the bank.

MAJOR DUTIES: 1. Responsible for monitoring the Serengeti e-billing system used within the Legal Department to track outside legal spend. 2. Monitor and respond to legal billing in-box. 3. Review timekeepers to develop a “core” group to work on all NT matters. 4. Review timekeeper rates, upload csv files, and confirm rates are in compliance with our guidelines. 5. Set budgets, develop and monitor alternative fee arrangements, and establish Tracker automation controls 6. Review NT outside Counsel billing guidelines and make adjustments to invoices as appropriate. 7. Generate weekly invoice batch for distribution to A/P team for payment of legal invoices 8. Report Generation – create a standard set of quarterly and year end reports, develop ad-hoc reports as needed based of fields/data collected within Serengeti. Run and follow up on standard weekly workflow reports. Follow up will include contact with relationship managers or legal department reviewers (all attorneys) 9. Open new matters – work with relationship managers at Northern and Billing Managers at Outside Counsel’s office. 10. Assist Manager of Legal Operations with development and implementation of audit controls, special projects and workflow enhancements.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

  • Excellent analytical, written, verbal, consultative, and communication skills are required

  • In-depth Functional/Industry Knowledge.

  • Highly flexible and adaptable to change

  • Familiarity with legal terminology and Serengeti electronic billing system

EXPERIENCE: College degree is preferred along with 3-5 years of e-billing experience.
