Job Description:

Position Overview

Siemens is seeking an intern to support the Finance/Accounting departments in Charlotte, NC.

Responsibilities

  • This position will have learn and have the following responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze the cost in the cost centers, prepare the forecasts at the end of each month.

  • Prepare capitalizations of projects as well as learning the preparation for a business case etc.

  • Assist in the preparation of the analysis and present to technical counterparts of the monthly results.

  • Consolidate the results from the different business Innovation and Technology

  • Strong knowledge in Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Participate in the annual implementation of the planning and preparation of the innovation and Technology reports.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

  • Graduate Student with a Masters degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting

  • Student must have a 3.5 GPA or higher

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word)

  • Access experience is a plus

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required to interact with customers, vendors and employees

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

  • Previous internship/work experience

  • Local candidates only
