Help shape out Diversity and Inclusion path!

Responsibilities:

  • Partner, consult and influence sector leaders to drive diversity and inclusion strategies within their business (via the Annual Sector Talent Plans).

  • Support Employee Resource Group (ERG) programs and foster expansion of existing or the development of new ERGs to broaden the reach and effectiveness of such groups

  • Build upon existing strategies and tools to promote diversity and inclusion throughout the organization (Work closely with Learning & Development to identify and / or develop and deploy D&I Training reflective of the Modern Learner)

  • Help create a comprehensive measurement and communication plan that captures and highlights the advancement of workforce diversity efforts

  • Lead reporting and conduct analysis to understand D&I insights, identify key areas of opportunity and recommend actions in support of Sectors and Compass Group overall.

  • Identify, influence and leverage organizational resources across businesses, regions and functions to inform and support the Compass North America D&I strategy

  • Partner with HR and Talent leaders, to embed effective D&I practices into every phase of the talent life cycle, from talent acquisition through succession management

  • Be a brand ambassador for Compass Group for attracting talent and third-party vendors

Year One Critical Success Factors:

  • Create and evolve strong relationships and partnerships with key internal leaders and stakeholder groups in order to advance the Diversity and Inclusion vision of the Company

  • Partner in developing and implementing initiatives and programs to provide focus and accountability fordiversity and inclusion;clarify goals and assess progress

  • Work closely with senior business leaders to provide expertise and guidance on issues of access, equality, diversity and inclusion

Education:

  • The successful candidate will have a BA or BS in business-related or human resource studies with post graduate qualifications in the same disciplines being highly desirable.

Basic Requirements:

Minimum 10 years' HR experience or equivalent

Minimum 5 years’ experience as diversity partner

Experience with diversity, cultural competencies, laws and regulations pertaining to equal employment opportunity and supplier diversity

Have a multi-cultural sensitivity in all areas of diversity and inclusion nationally and internationally

In depth knowledge of diversity best practices, concepts and programs

Experience in promoting an employer brand using both digital and traditional media

Strong executive presentation skills and facilitation skills

Ability to travel as required (projected about 30-40%)

Strong analytical skills, including comfort working with numerical data and performing data analysis and reporting
