UNC Department of Public Safety Tenure-track Faculty Position in Cryo-EM in Chapel Hill, North Carolina
The Department of Biochemistry and Biophysics in partnership with the Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center in the School of Medicine at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill seeks outstanding applicants for a tenure-track faculty position in structural biology with specialization in high resolution cryo-electron microscopy (cryo-EM) as applied to cancer and/or drug discovery, broadly defined. Outstanding applicants for the Assistant Professor level are especially encouraged to apply [for this open rank position]. Applicants should hold a Ph.D., or M.D. or equivalent degree, and will be expected to establish a well-funded and internationally competitive research program, and teach at both the graduate and professional levels. The successful candidate will play a leading role in developing a state-of-the-art cryoEM facility at UNC. Women and members of under-represented minority groups are especially encouraged to apply.

Qualifications and Experience
Candidates should demonstrate the ability to establish and collaborate in multidisciplinary, funded research programs and internationally competitive research programs. Qualified candidates will be required to teach both at the graduate and professional levels. The successful candidate will play a leading role in developing a state-of-the-art cryoEM facility at UNC.
