UNC Department of Public Safety Postdoctoral Research Associate (Rihe Liu Lab) in Chapel Hill, North Carolina

Position Summary

Develop and study extracellular and intracellular molecular traps for signaling studies and translational applications. Use protein selection to identify novel protein affinity molecules against cancer surface biomarkers involved in tumor metastasis and cancer immunosuppression.

Educational Requirements

Ph.D. in Biochemical, Biological, Biomedical, or Pharmaceutical, or related sciences.

Qualifications and Experience

Strong expertise in biochemistry, molecular biology and cell biology techniques, in particular protein expression in mammalian cells, protein purification and characterization. Experience in display technologies, antibody engineering, animal studies and cancer immunology.
