Responsible for the coordination of the Day Support Program. Is accountable for providing supervision, training and guidance to assigned staff. Develop and implement behavioral and vocational plans and provide vocational case management to assigned participants. Ensure compliance with and all state & Federal regulatory guidelines, including CARF, Medicaid, licensure, etc.
Supervise assigned staff to ensure their duties and responsibilities are completed.
Hire, train, and evaluate assigned staff and perform the duties as assigned by Manager in his/her absence.
May resolve work problems or assist workers in solving work problems. Implement, monitor and review employee training programs and or program reviews. Complete annual performance appraisals on assigned staff. Coordinate and monitor the quality and distribution of all Individual Service Plans (ISP) and progress reports as assigned. Attend IDT meetings as assigned.
Maintain a safe, secure and healthy work environment for all persons served, staff, volunteers, interns, contractors and visitors. Ensure that all individuals adhere to the ServiceSource practices, guidelines and standards. Report and document any unsafe conditions to the appropriate agency/individual.
Maintain familiarity with Medicaid, licensure, CARF, etc. and ensure compliance with such regulations.
Bachelors degree in related field. Master's degree in related field preferred. 5 years experience working with adults with developmental disabilities.
Knowledge of behavior management principles; knowledge of community resources; effective oral and written communication skills. Eligible for CFS drivers insurance. Advanced training; computer skills; supervision/management experience in an organization providing services to adults with disabilities.
Physical ability to assist clients with toileting, mobility, transferring, etc., as well as lifting production materials and equipment up to 30 pounds and relates well to people with disabilities.
