The Hill-Rom Clinical Workflow Solutions (CWS) Regional Services Director is a critical leadership role responsible the delivery of all CWS Information Technology and medical device field support, maintenance and implementation services in its assigned region. Those responsibilities include all CWS service delivery, revenue forecasting, personnel management, customer issue escalation/resolution, and P&L financial responsibility. The position is also responsible for creating an environment that grows both customer satisfaction and profitability.

The Director is also responsible for meeting a number of operational metrics including: revenue, billing, utilization, cost, and customer satisfaction. This includes meeting monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets, forecasting revenue and timely reporting of revenue recognition. He/she will work directly with market research team to effectively measure customer satisfaction for Services delivered and identify appropriate improvement to optimize customer satisfaction. The Director will have the overall responsibility to ensure proper use of all resources and company assets. The Director must demonstrate, instruct, and ensure the strict compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and company policies and must ensure the proper use of all resources and company assets.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: – Other duties may be assigned:

  • Drive profitable revenue growth to meet overall company goals collaboratively with CWS AVP’s

  • Track/ Report overall progress through weekly or quarterly strategy reviews with AVP for ITSE and AE’s

  • Presentations to Executive Clinical customers to drive CWS portfolio for targeted accounts

  • Train, and implement the Clinical strategies to promote CWS sales revenue with the AVP, ITSE, and AE field sales staff

  • Support sales selling cycle and methodology with all Hill-Rom stakeholders

  • Participate in the sales development plan for new project proposals from initial customer interface through RFP process

  • Promote positive relations with business partners and service partners

  • Collaborate with Executive Director on performance reviews, interviews, hiring, and initial field entry process for new ITSE

  • Incorporate and reinforce selling strategies for existing and new ITSE field sales staff

  • Executive presentations to include hospital committees and executives, and key decision makers relative to IT projects that deliver specific value propositions with maximum impact

  • Identify opportunities for measurement of deliverables through collaboration with other Hill-Rom groups

  • Work collaboratively with CWS marketing team to drive interest and sales to the clinical and financial customer

  • Provide guidance and direction dotted line to Clinical Workflow Consultants

  • Directly support the top revenue potential opportunities identified across the nation

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • 7-10 yrs. experience in leading complex IT services preferably in the applied healthcare industry leading managers

  • Strong IT acumen to include strong knowledge of IT applications preferably real-time clinical healthcare applications, network, data base and security technologies

  • Excels in achieving outstanding performance results.

  • Strong leadership skills- ability to effectively establish goals, motivate and drive performance, and effective interpersonal skills

  • Strong Business acumen to include a strong knowledge of business financials, ability to effectively structure and build a business case with the ability to define the economic and clinical benefits for the CWS product portfolio to impact care delivery

  • Effective planning, program management and capability maturity management skills to define strategies and plans to drive growth in the CWS services

  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills to understand key customer issues and define how IT solutions will solve challenges facing our customers today

  • Exceptional communication skills that deliver effective presentations with maximum impact with excellent oral presentation skills

  • Builds strong partnerships and relationships with internal resource staff to promote sales and marketing initiatives

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA preferred

  • Experience in lean six sigma preferred
