Cargill’s Agricultural Supply Chain – North America (CASC NA) connects agricultural producers to food, feed and industrial customers through a seamless supply chain. We help our customers compete in the global market and efficiently deliver products from origins to destinations through our marketing, sourcing, originating, storing, trading, consulting and processing of grain, oilseeds and crop inputs products and solutions. Position Overview:

This position as the Plant Labourer based out of the canola processing plant in Camrose, AB, will require you to perform general labour duties for the plant operations team around the site in a safe and efficient manner. This position is entry level with the expectation that as other positions within the plant become vacant it would backfill those positions as needed depending on job performance.

Essential duties required with the use of multiple hand tools, chemicals, and mobile equipment to assist with job duties are:

  • Snow removal

  • Grass Cutting

  • Dewatering (setting up and moving portable pumps)

  • Shoveling

  • Site housekeeping

  • Aiding with deliveries

  • Other duties as assigned



  • Completion of high school diploma or equivalent

  • Must be willing and able to work up to 8 hour day shifts with occasional overtime (weekends, holidays and additional hours beyond regularly scheduled shift to cover plant needs) Normal shift is Monday – Friday 7am to 3:30pm

  • Ability to perform physical tasks that require you to ascend and descend stairs, ladders, etc., to work in elevated areas of the plant, and work in confined spaces, and periodically lift up to 50 pounds

  • Proven strong verbal communication and time management skills

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and possess follow-up skills

  • Must have demonstrated high performance (work performance, attendance record, safety record)

  • Must have adequate transportation and a valid driver's license

  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada for Cargill


  • Previous experience working within an industrial environment
