About the Co-op Program:
The Co-op program at Akamai provides current college students the opportunity to work full time for a period of 4 to 6 months within their field of study. Students who accept a Co-op position are given the opportunity to dive deep into projects and responsibilities and gain valuable hands on work experience. Students must be enrolled in a degree program with the intent to return to that program at the conclusion of their Co-op. The typical Co-op cycles run from January to June or July to December.
In addition to your day-to-day responsibilities, program participants will be invited to a variety of formal and informal trainings, interact frequently with company leadership, and attend social events.
About the Job:
In this Co-op you will help Logistics specialists manage the distribution activities for Akamai’s network equipment in assigned regions. Perform data analysis and build excel reports to compare data and look at trends. You will interact with Manufacturers, 3PLs, Carriers, Repair Vendors, and other Akamai Network members.
Responsibilities May Include:
Process and/or audit daily inbound/outbound reports for specialists who require help.
Provide data analysis and excel reports – anything extracted from Analytics that requires review, analysis, validation, etc.
Run queries in Siebel to make sure we are staying on top of SLA (Service Level Agreement).
Help Logistics ensure accuracy of information in database (Siebel & Wiki).
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Supply Chain, Business, or related field and returning to the program after completion of the Co-op.
1+ years strong computer skills including MicroSoft Excel.
Able to work 40 hours per week during the Co-op cycle.
*Strong data analytical skills.
Strong problem solving skills.
Ability to perform highly detailed work.
*Experience delivering training a plus.
