PURPOSE OF THE POSITION The Program Supervisor is responsible for the operations and activities of the program, enforcing and educating staff on procedures and providing enrollment and clinical supervision for all staff and interns. The Program Supervisor is responsible for monitoring all staff, processes, policies and procedures, customer service, documentation and treatment services in their scope of influence. OPERATIONS AND ACTIVITIES Provide support to the program by presenting program components in a manner which will optimize client progress and minimize harm or potential harm to clients. Duties may include, but are not limited to: Enforce policies and procedures of alcohol and drug programs with all staff. Aid in the assessment of new potential clients. Understand funding and monitor funding problems. Assure that all client rights are protected. Operate and enforce ethical standards of care following the River Ridge, LLC. Guidelines. Assure client safety while the client is participating in the program. Review and revise treatment plans on a regular basis. Assure that all laws regarding confidentiality and HIPPA are enforced. Prepare an evaluation system and evaluate all aspects of the program for efficiency and effectiveness. The program supervisor is the employment supervisor for their designated staff who report directly to them. Knowledge of licensing regulations for Rule 25, Rule 31 and LADC; licensure requirements. Maintains the stability and reputation of the organization by complying with all legal, ethical and moral requirements of the Organization. Accreditation/certification requirements according to MN Licensure. Require all staff to use Procentive electronic medical records. ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT Prepare all written and verbal reports required by the Director of Services. Develop tracking systems in excel or other provided computer based systems for tracking client progress, staff requirements and system tracking. Hold regular staff meetings for the purpose of disseminating information, directing staff, ensuring staff structure and consistency, evaluate the progress of clients, clinical direction, problem solving and staff cohesiveness. Develop and implement an in service schedule for the program staff. Evaluate and document the job performance of all staff. Develops and maintains a model of appropriate team behavior and utilizes opportunities to promote teamwork. Recommend and prepare annual budget.
