We are currently seeking an experienced:
TRANSPORTATION COORDINATOR – CNA/ NURSING SECRETARY BURLINGTON, NC Full Time
Coordinates all aspects of transporting residents of the facility.
Assures proper maintenance of all facility vehicles.
Makes all appointments for patients and maintains a calendar of appointments.
Assists in maintaining a good working relationship with the community, hospital, and other health care facilities and agencies and assuring coordination of services for our patients.
Takes specimens and other items to the hospital or medical clinic as requested.
Assists with completion of Nurse’s work schedule and assures adequate coverage under direction of DON.
Stocks Lab Office and each nurse’s station with supplies, and keeps organized and neat.
Monitors oxygen tanks and oxygen concentrators in conjunction with Central Supply and orders oxygen as needed.
Maintains cleanliness of suction machines, vaporizers, and other nursing equipment.
Restocks filing cabinet with appropriate nursing forms.
Helps with Restorative Nursing as needed.
Assists with activities and filing as needed and as time permits.
Runs errands for Facility as needed to pharmacy, etc.
Valid NC Driver’s License to operate a motor vehicle with an appropriate driving record.
High school diploma and 21 years of age or older.
Must currently be registered with DFS as a Nursing Assistant or as an Emergency Medical Technician in North Carolina.
Must maintain a current CPR certification via the American Heart Association.
Possess good moral character, and have a genuine concern for the elderly and disabled.
Willingness to perform routine repetitive tasks on a continuous basis.
Ability to plan, organize, and follow-up on work assignments.
Ability to make independent decisions, work well under pressure, and cooperate with other employees.
Ability to be flexible in performing different tasks.
