Job Description

  • Coordinator Supply Chain Process Improvement – Corporate Materials Management (Catholic Health):The Coordinator, Supply Chain Process Improvement will lead Supply Chain process improvement and policy development and education throughout the system. This individual will help document the practices and processes of the various aspects of the Supply Chain, with the intent to ensure that best practices are implemented and followed, and will also work with the Supply Chain Team to review and develop operating policies to ensure that they are up-to-date and effective. Additionally, the Coordinator, Supply Chain Process Improvement will perform education across the system to ensure that all areas that are impacted by the Supply Chain have been educated on the Supply Chain policies and procedures. The Coordinator, Supply Chain Process Improvement will have responsibility for the success of Supply Chain process improvement and the results obtained from the system. This person will coordinate all aspects of implementing, managing, and obtaining results from Supply Chain process improvement.REPORTS TO: Director, PurchasingSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:NoneSKILL AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS (MINIMUM):Education

• Bachelors Degree in Business or Industrial Engineering required, with an emphasis in Supply Chain preferredExperience

• Four (4) – Five (5) years experience with Supply Chain or Process Improvement

• Understanding of Six-Sigma principles and concepts

• Experience in Six-Sigma implementation and change management preferred

• Understanding in business processes (e.g. operating/owning processes; process strategy and design, process mapping, process improvement, etc.)

• Experience in participating in cross-functional project team environment

• Lawson application knowledge and experience

• Segregation of duty alignment and knowledge

• Maintain SOD attributes for internal controlsKnowledge, Skill and Ability

• Demonstrated accomplishments as team builder, problem solver and an innovator

• Knowledge of applying statistical tools and process improvement techniques with an overall commitment to lead operational and strategic projects

• Coordinate the implementation and integration of process improvement activities to solve operational challenges

• Ability to provide proactive and creative solutions to business problems, exercising initiative and self-direction to accomplish assignments within acceptable timeframes

• Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills, utilizing information to run process improvements, evaluation of performance metrics

• Exceptional interpersonal people and project management skills (e.g. oral and written communication including reports and other formal channels, group facilitation skills; ability to develop relationships and network with others, ability to manage complex projects effectively to balance quality, cost and time, etc.)

• Strong time management and multi-tasking skills, with seasoned ability to meet project deadlines and work independently

• Ability and willingness to highlight deficiencies within the control structure to superiors

• Ability to be flexible and adapt to change, believer in teamwork

• Strong knowledge of PC and Microsoft Office based programsCONFIDENTIALITY:
