Washington State DSHS Attendant Counselor in Buckley, Washington

Rainier School is a state Rehabilitation Habilitation Center and is seeking an Attendant Counselor to join our hard working team located in Buckley, WA. This position will be located in Aspen PAT E one of our residences.

Some of what you'll be doing

  • Write, implement, monitor, assess and revise client's Individual Habilitation Plan (IHP).
  • Provide active treatment, training and support per the IHP to clients.
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living include routine physical, emotional, psychological and rehabilitative care under the direction of nursing/medical staff.
  • Responsible for client's health, safety and security.
  • Document daily observations and occurrences in client's program and personal files.
  • Attend and participate in all mandatory and scheduled training.
  • Other duties as assigned.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

High School Graduate orGED and one year experience working with intellectual disabilities;


High school graduation or GED and one year of experience as an Attendant Counselor Trainee, equivalent or higher level state class.
