Position Summary/Essential Functions:
This candidate will be working within an operations team handling all of the new account requests and administrative aspects for the advisory account business at J.P Morgan Securities including generating welcome letter packages for new advisory services clients and maintaining and scanning the advisory account documentation. The perfect candidate will be well organized, attentive and detail oriented.
Process all new account requests received by Financial Advisor teams in a timely manner.
Generate new account welcome packages, including the preparation of client letters, producing copies and readying the packages for scanning into our documentation database.
Ensure welcome packages are processed and mailed in accordance with regulatory timeframes and ADV delivery requirements.
Create and maintain a documentation spreadsheet to ensure all pending advisory documentation has been booked to the appropriate accounts.
Review and process exception reports.
Respond to general operational inquires from Financial Advisor’s.
Bachelor’s degree or two years of operations experience in the financial services industry.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), MS Outlook and ability to learn proprietary software.
Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and oral.
Ability to multi-task and manage priorities effectively.
Exceptional follow-up and follow-through skills.
Works well under tight deadlines.
Understands urgency of regulatory requirements.
Ability to work flexible hours in terms of coming in early and staying late when needed.
Ability to work both independently and as a team player.
Knowledge of Acrobat Professional helpful.
