Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing, ADN required, BSN preferred.
Current professional RN licensure in Wisconsin.
Minimum of two (2) years nursing experience.
Advanced knowledge and skills in Adult Nursing Practice utilizing the Nursing Proc.
Ability to organize, plan and problem solve in a variety of situations.
Excellent communication skills with all members of the health care team.
Knowledge of certifying and regulating agencies rules and regulations.
The Night Shift Nursing Supervisor performs variety of activities and services to facilitate patient care throughout the facility. Functioning as both a unit manager and staff nurse on two units, the Supervisor works to assure patient care is provided in accordance with the standards of all regulatory and certifying agencies. The Nurse Supervisor also coordinates patient/resident activities with other members of the health care team, acts as a clinical and administrative resource to all facility staff on a specific shift, and acts in a manner consistent with the Mission and Values of Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare.
This will be a 3rd shift position, consisting of 5 shifts per 2 week pay period, and will require an every other weekend, and every other holiday rotation.
