Summary Supports and assists the TriStar Quality Department in oversight of clinical operations including direction, analysis and management assistance for initiatives and projects at the system and facility level including but not limited to coordinating system regulatory compliance and support of quality related teams and groups.

Duties included but not limited to: 1. Assists facilities with TJC survey preparation including assisting with implementation of recommendations from corporate QRS findings and follow-up monitoring plans of correction. 2. Assists facility with the resolution of CMS or other regulatory issues and division wide communication and implementation of best demonstrated regulatory solutions. 3. Directs activities of TriStar division teams as assigned. Functions effectively as a team member and a team leader 4. Work with the DVPQ and DCMO to drive improvement on publicly-reported measures, regulatory alignment, risk measures, clinical metric reporting, and HCA endorsed programs (Leapfrog, NCDR/STS, etc.) 5. Participates in and provides support to the division Partners for Quality (P4Q) collaborative calls and in preparation of any Group or Corporate Quality calls. 6. Supports division and facilities with key corporate activities related to Emergency Preparedness and Infectious Disease Response Teams (IDRT). 7. Assists the DVPQ/DCMO in support of the activities of other key division improvement/strategic teams including but not limited to Patient Safety Officers/Risk Managers, Medical Staff Services, Division Behavioral Health, Division Perinatal Committee, Division Infection Prevention, Division Pharmacy, Division Emergency Preparedness and other Specialty ADHOC Committees 8. Assists DVPQ in improving QM/RM processes at facilities by providing consultative services that assure a proactive versus reactive approach 9. Provides assistance to the hospital QM and RM departments and senior management (facility and division) in professional and timely fashion 10. Work with division and hospital clinical leadership to develop and implement education/development activities with a data-based focus on quality, patient safety, data utilization, continuous improvement, best practices, reporting requirements & regulatory compliance 11. Assists facilities with problem solving and process improvement related to regulatory compliance issues, risk management and other improvement activities 12. Provides and coordinates quality improvement and regulatory related education for hospital and medical staff as deemed necessary by senior management 13. Assists DVPQ with coordination of Clinical Safety Improvement Program (CSIP) for the division 14. Assists DVPQ and facility quality directors with management of the Emerging Quality Leader Development program 15. Assists with orientation of new QM/RM directors to market and division processes 16. Represents the division at corporate meetings upon request of supervisor

Education: •Bachelor’s degree in clinical field required. Master’s degree in healthcare or related field required •Licensed Registered Nurse •Relevant Certifications (CPHQ, CPPS, CPHRM, FACHE, Six Sigma, etc.) preferred

Experience: •4-5 years in acute care hospital quality/risk management at a VP or director level. •2-3 years’ experience in healthcare industry: analysis, research, benchmarking or performance tracking, statistical process control analysis or other directly analysis or decision support role required •2-3 years’ experience with The Joint Commission (TJC) and other regulatory standards and with organization-wide survey preparation •Quality management and /or risk management techniques, team leadership, group facilitation and statistical/data analysis required. •Experience in a large, complex, multi-site facility or coordination across multiple facilities, preferred
