Community Health Systems Medical Technologist II-Lab-FT-Afternoon Shift in Brandon, Mississippi
The Medical Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic quality routine and specialized moderate and high complexity laboratory tests according to pre-established guidelines. Schedules and observes time-management techniques according to departmental productivity and efficiency standards while observing a quality patient care experience. Performs instrument function checks and preventative maintenance procedures and maintains records and statistical data according to regulatory requirements.
Education:Bachelor's degree in medical technology or laboratory science or alternative qualification through a CLIA recognized experience and examination program.
Five (5) years of Medical Laboratory experience is required.
Registered or eligible for registration as a Medical Technologist, MT(ASCP), MT(AMT), HEW or CLT(NCA) is required. BLS certification is preferred
