Dynamic manufacturing company of specialized ultrasound transducers and related electronic systems. We are conveniently located in the North Creek area of Bothell, just off of I-405 and SR 522. Location: Bothell, WA Pay: DOE, Competitive Duration: Direct-Hire Primary responsibilities: Maintain quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production and finished products; recording quality results Perform sample inspections according to engineering drawings and source control documentation and specifications using standard measuring tools Verify conformance of finished work (in-house and purchased parts) to specifications using standard measuring tools Document inspection results by completing paperwork and computerized database Reject and disposition unacceptable materials; coordinate with suppliers as necessary Move accepted materials into proper manufacturing process Periodically review inspection results and deliver report summary to management Manage and perform scheduled and preventative maintenance and periodic calibration on machine shop, lab equipment and measurement tools as directed Other responsibilities: Assist engineers in developing inspection plans Update drawings and documentation per ECO and DCO Promote process improvement Maintain a clean and organized work environment Follow all safety guidelines, including proper use of safety equipment and relevant safety procedures Update job knowledge by participating in education opportunities and reading technical publications Assist engineers with and assembly of electro-mechanical enclosures and other accessories as needed Other duties as assigned Requirements: High school diploma required Excellent manual dexterity to work with small, fragile and detailed objects Well organized and detail-oriented Ability to read and understand part drawings Familiarity with SolidWorks a plus Skilled in using common inspection and measurement tools Knowledge of ISO 9001 preferred Knowledge of MS Windows-based computer operating systems and software Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills Demonstrate mathematical aptitude and mechanical inclination Demonstrate flexibility in adapting to changing priorities and process revisions st have excellent visual acuity and good hearing Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
