HEALTHCARE RECRUITER – ENTRY LEVEL 

We are looking to add a motivated, proactive and outgoing individual to our ReadyNurse team in our Boston, MA office! This is an exciting entry level opportunity for someone interested in beginning a career in Healthcare! This entry level recruiting role requires a professional and personable individual who is focused on relationship building through recruiting, sales and marketing. Our ideal candidate will also have a strong work ethic, high energy, and have advanced customer service skills. This role is ideal for someone with a background in sales and marketing.

 

POSITION SUMMARY:

This entry level Recruiter role will primarily be focused on “full desk” healthcare recruitment. This includes managing all functions associated with the recruiting, screening, and placement of field employees (therapy professionals), including marketing and sales activities. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys a fast paced, team oriented, and learning environment within our Boston office.

RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:

 

  • Develop and execute a recruiting and marketing strategy to target and place Field Employees in staffing assignments.

  • Manage the hiring process through sourcing, recruiting, interviewing candidates, offering and negotiating positions, credentialing and onboarding new hires.

  • Process client job orders, which includes presenting qualified candidates to clients while maintaining exceptional customer service skills.

  • Execute bill and pay rate negotiations with employees and clients, based on client job orders.

  • Business Development: contact prospective, existing and active customers through multiple channels such as telephone, client site visits and email.

  • Oversee payroll processing to ensure all employees are paid correctly in a timely fashion.

  • Maintain profit margins and recruitment quota in accordance with set sales goals.

  • Maintain potential candidate pool and working employees in assignments while coordinating retention effort and the extension of assignments. 

JOB SKILLS:

 

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with all levels of management and staff.

  • Must display a professional approach to communication, customer service, and teamwork, as there is a high degree of interaction with various levels of employees, clients, visitors and outside consultants.

  • Proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Office products (WORD, Excel and PowerPoint) as well as applicant tracking software and social media tools such as Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter.

  • Ability to establish and achieve sales goals, prioritize and perform multiple functions and tasks. 

  • Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills.

  • Excellent customer service skills.

  • Demonstrates sense of urgency in completing assignments.

SPECIFIC EDUCATIONAL/VOCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree, required. A focus in Business, Marketing, Communication, or Healthcare/Healthcare Administration preferred, but not necessary.

  • 2 years sales and customer service experience preferred.

  • Healthcare staffing experience preferred, but not required.

  • He/she carries out other tasks as requested in situations where hands-on intervention/participation may be required.
