Center Sales and Service Associates are an integral part of our team as they are the front line voice to our customers. In this role you will be responsible for fielding inbound calls from potential and existing customers, addressing concerns, providing solutions and then selling our products and services.

Job Overview:

Under immediate supervision, respond to phone calls in a fast-paced call center promoting and selling CenturyLink products and services to customers with a high sense of urgency while providing, extraordinary customer service; to include answering questions, fulfilling orders, troubleshooting problems, responding with information, and limiting call transfers with first call resolution.

Wages and Training:

  • Training for this position begins January 9, 2017

  • $13.00+ per hour to start plus additional commission for meeting your goals at 100%.

  • Incredible UNCAPPED earning potential, based on performance

  • Training will be 6 weeks, Monday through Friday, 10am – 7pm. You MUST be able to attend entire 6 weeks of training without time off Typical Work Hours: New hires typically work 10a.m. to 7p.m., Monday through Friday. Mandatory overtime may be required, based on call volumes during normal hours of operation. Benefits:

  • Builds and maintains strong customer rapport

  • Shows care to each customer by using patience, attentiveness, willingness to help while being professional and showing respect

  • Perfects the customer experience by providing superior service

  • Receives, listens, and responds to inbound calls from CenturyLink residential customers

  • Consults with customers to gather information and makes recommendations for their communication and entertainment needs

  • Receives and resolves complaints and general calls in regards to service, billing, payment and other service related issues

  • Meets required sales objectives by offering and selling CenturyLink products and services on every call

  • Sells additional services and products by recognizing opportunities to up-sell, explaining new features

  • Uses various computer systems and screens simultaneously to process sales and service orders

  • Consults, multi-tasks, and problem solves with the customer

  • Maintains and improves speed, accuracy, and quality results by adhering to standards and guideline

  • Updates job and product knowledge by participating in educational opportunities

  • Enters data with speed and accuracy Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to meet and exceed monthly sales quotas

  • Successful completion of both Contact Center Assessments is required to be considered for this position. Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior sales experience in a customer-facing environment or commissioned based position

  • Experience in an in-bound or out-bound call center
