Job Title: Warehouse Lead - 2nd Shift - BLAINE, MN Job Description: Pro Staff is currently hiring a Warehouse Lead to grow with a leading company in automotive distribution. In this position, you will be responsible for assisting the Warehouse Supervisor with the overall output, quality, condition and capability of the warehouse including receiving, picking, packing, storage and shipping of products to meet the customer needs. Pay: $15.00-17.00/hour Hours: Sunday Wednesday 1:30 pm 12:00 am & OT as necessary Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Able to perform all duties and responsibilities of a Warehouse Associate. 2. Assist Warehouse Associates with prioritizing work and keeping them on task. 3. Assign qualified Warehouse Associates to areas as needed to meet the warehouse demands. 4. Inspect freight. 5. Collaborate with Customer Service on issues and special projects. 6. Responsible for overall organization and cleanliness of the warehouse. 7. Train associates on picking, packing and RF scanners. 8. Keep work area clean and organized. 9. Assist with ensuring accurate inventory counts. Supervisory Responsibilities: 1. Assist with interviewing, hiring, and training employees. 2. Provide input on employee performance review. 3. Assist with disciplining employees. 4. Address employee complaints and resolve problems. 5. Check reports to make sure everything has shipped. Education and Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required 1+ year warehouse experience, industry specific experience preferred Properly trained and certified to operate a forklift, electric pallet jack and wave Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk on level surfaces for a prolonged period. The employee frequently is required to talk and hear; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reaching with hands and arms above shoulder height and below the waist. The employee may be required to. Using proper lifting techniques, the employee must be able to lift up to 20 lbs 70% of the day and up to 65 lbs 30% of the day.
