Prepares material cost estimates in support of quotes and proposal efforts. Develops consolidated bills of material and compiles supporting data. Collects, researches and validates purchase order historical data. Assists with audits, fact-finding, current price updates, negotiations, sweeps and certifications.

Please note: This position is located in Bingen, WA

This position reports to the Manager of Material Estimating within the Material Planning and Controls Organization.

  • Prepares material cost estimates in support of quotes and proposal efforts.

  • Develops consolidated bills of material and compiles supporting data.

  • Collects, researches and validates purchase order historical data.

  • Assists with audits, fact-finding, current price updates, negotiations, sweeps and certifications

  • Strong Excel skills (vlookups & pivot tables) required.

  • Must be comfortable with complex financial models and large data sets.

  • Must work well in a fast paced team oreinted environment

  • Experience or knowledge of ERP systems preferred (Deltek, Costpoint, SAP)

  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills

0-2 years experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Economics preferred

  • Manufacturing and/or Procurement experience preferred

  • Contracting experience preferred
