Medical Science & Computing, Inc. (MSC) is dedicated to providing scientific and technical services to the Federal Government. We are currently searching for a Tooling Developer to support NIH. This is a full-time position located on the NIH campus in Bethesda, MD.

Duties and Responsibilities

Working Knowledge of Source Code Version systems like GIT, SVN and Code branching/merging strategies.

Experience with ANY build automation tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, Teamcity etc.

Good understanding on Linux and networking internals

Experience in developing and working in agile based software development

Experience authoring documents for technical and non-technical audience

Hands on prior experience with ANY bash/ksh/csh/sh, or PERL/PYTHON scripting.

Ability to code in Java. Good knowledge of J2EE framework

Good understanding of build dependency management tools like Maven, Gradle

Demonstrated experience in installing Tomcat and other software on a Linux platform

Position Requirements

Prior work experience (even as user) with Atlassian tools like Bamboo, JIRA, Confluence or Bitbucket.

Prior work experience with static analysis tools, Junit or selenium grid

Experience in developing and working in agile based software development

Experience authoring documents for technical and non-technical audience
