Who is a Member Relations - Member Advisor I? Our Member Relations teams are growing so we can provide the best support possible to our members! Our Member Relations - Member Advisor I is the "voice" of Affinity Plus, the first person our members talk to when they call in to the credit union. With each telephone call, our members will rely on people in this role for every day transactions - checking balances, transfers, account information, etc., but we want them to experience much more. In this Member Advisor I position, we want someone that understands how important it is to build a relationship with someone when they make a quick call over their lunch break. You're never "just a bank teller". What are some of the tasks you may do on a day-to-day basis? Answering incoming telephone calls and being the voice and first impression of Affinity Plus to new and potential members Handling requests from members for transfers, deposits, withdrawals, issuing money orders and cashier's checks, or check requests from checking, savings and loan accounts Executing wire or ACH transferring of funds Instant issuing debit, credit, and gift cards Verifying endorsements and proper identification on transactions when appropriate What does it take to be a Member Relatoins - Member Advisor I? Innate ability and drive to build open and honest relationships with each and every member Manage time effectively and prioritize tasks Communicate efficiently and effectively through face-to-face or written communication - Being bilingual is a plus! Flexibility and adaptability in a fast paced environment Intermediate computer skills and the ability to navigate between multiple systems with ease 2 years of customer service and/or cash handling experience required Workplace Environment: Ability to remain in stationary position (standing or sitting) for 90-95% during entire shift Working at a computer 98% of the day Utilizing the phone 40-60% Bending, twisting, kneeling, stooping, or crouching when appropriate, on occasion Repetitive movements, including but not limited to typing, using a mouse, phones, etc. Lift, carry, push or pull up to approximately 30 pounds (cash/coin bags, supplies, etc.) Required schedule: Full days on Monday, Tuesday and Friday with rotating Saturdays. New Employee Orientation and Training will be held June 5-9 or June 26-30.
