Location: United States-Indiana-Batesville
STEM GOVERNMENT PROGRAM:
Batesville High School students are at the junior or senior level, handpicked by BHS Principal and a committee, and are on track to graduate with the highest level of achievement a high school student can achieve—Diplomas with both Academic and Technical Honors. Each has a keen interest in pursuing a 4-year degree in science, technology, engineering or math (STEM) and has completed coursework in calculus, physics, as well as project-based courses in engineering. They typically work two days a week for 2 to 3 hours, and will rotate to different mentors every nine or 18 weeks depending on project needs. The program is very well planned within Hill-Rom with defined learning objectives, project assignments, and performance feedback.
Not applicable as students are hand selected by the Batesville High School.
