Manages & directs a team of Sales Representatives for a territory/region. Participates as a team member in strategic and tactical planning for the division. Develops and executes strategic regional plans utilizing resources from various marketing and sales functions to maximize revenue. Responsible for coaching, performance management, and career development of staff. Participates in the recruiting process and provides hiring recommendations to senior management. Handles escalations and participates directly in complex sales situations to negotiate and/or resolve disputes and ensure customer satisfaction. Conducts regional sales forecasts, territory planning, demand generation, deal strategy development and trend analysis.

  • Sales strategies – Identify Market opportunities and direct the team to achieve the Sales goals set. Be strategic and drive business and profitability.

  • Trusted Team player – Works closely with the team and ensure the members are counseled, coached and driven to the common objective.

  • Customer Insights - Actively understand each customer's footprint, strategic growth plans, and technology strategy landscape. Review public information (e.g. new executive appointments, earnings statements, press releases) for the company and its competitors to remain updated on key industry trends and issues impacting the prospect.

  • Territory Leadership - Lead designated territory, including accounts, account relationships, prospect profiling, and sales cycles. Encourage all accounts to become ORACLE UNIVERSITY references.

  • Business Planning - Develop and deliver comprehensive business plan to address customer and prospects priorities on Oracle education & courses. Manage product mix to suit the organizations long term view.

  • Work closely with the Operations/delivery team and ensure delivery of the programs on time and effectively

Assists in the development of short, medium, and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives. Regularly interacts across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives are met. Ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations. Post graduate with Marketing / Business management, 15 years of experience in sales of complex solutions in IT sales to Commercial Accounts & Channels. Demonstrated success with Commercial accounts & transactions and lengthy sales cycles in a fast-paced, consultative and competitive market.

The primary focus of an Oracle Inside Sales Team Manager is to plan, manage and develop a team of Inside Sales Representatives.

Manages a team of telesales representatives/managers for a territory/region. Participates as a team member in strategic and tactical planning for the division. Responsible for coaching, performance management, and career development of staff. Participates in the recruiting process and provides hiring recommendations to senior management. Handles escalations and participates directly in complex sales situations to negotiate and/or resolve disputes and ensure customer satisfaction. Conducts regional sales forecasts, territory planning, demand generation, deal strategy development and trend analysis.
