Mainframe Systems Programmer with specific skills in SAS, MICS and Systems Performance.
What you’ll do:
MICS administration – Install, maintain, customization/modernization, document internal process & MICS-related batch flow
Component reporting – batch, CICS, DB2, etc
Workload reporting – z/OS, DASD/tape (MICS VCA), account chargeback (homegrown or MICS
zOS system performance – monitoring and troubleshooting
ONCALL – MICS & reporting jobs, zOS system performance
HW, key SW upgrades and application test support – monitor and report results
Position would include being the “application liaison”
What you have:
Extensive SAS expertise and programming skills
Solid experience with SMF data analysis
Solid analytical skills
Solid report creation expertise – EXCEL, SQL, Tableau
Familiarity with MXG
Familiarity with application performance analysis tools
Solid DB2, CICS, MQ or MF storage (DASD, tape) expertise
Scheduling product and/or automation expertise to manage/standardize reporting workload
zVM system performance expertise
Ability to thrive in an ever-changing environment and handle last-minute /urgent requests
Solid presentation skills
Solid time-management and multi-tasking skills
Solid communication skills – written & verbal including interaction with upper/executive management
