Quickly design and develop new code
Develop functional and appealing web- and mobile-based applications based on usability
Use a combination of markup languages to design and create Web pages
Create quality mockups and prototypes on tight timelines
Assist back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting
Createcascading style sheets (CSS)that are consistent across all browsers and platforms
Maintain graphic standards and branding throughout the product’s interface
Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies
- Promote usability best practices
Prospective candidates possess a high degree of business insight, creativity, decision making skills, a drive for results, the ability to negotiate, the ability to develop peer relationships, and a strong technical learning capability.
Experience with Agile teams that have delivered software while practicing code review
Strong understanding of current and emerging industry technologies related to creating the best user experience
Strong understanding of layout aesthetics
Proven experience with responsive design and Web based technologies
Strong understanding of industry trends and content management systems
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Creative problem solving skills and ability to effectively communicate and translate feedback, needs and solutions
Must have strong teamwork orientation and the ability to foster collaboration within and across teams
Needs good work ethic and strong sense of ownership of end result
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field, or, equivalent combination of education and recent, relevant work experience
4+ years utilizing HTML5/CSS/JS to deliver responsive Web front applications
4+ years utilizing industry standard frameworks such as jQuery, AngularJS, Backbone, Ember, React, etc.
Experience using Git source control
