Responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating department operations. Duties include formulating policies and procedures, managing daily operations, and planning the use of materials and human resources.
Specific Job Duties:

Necessary Skills / Attributes
Verify compliance to execution of tasks (PM, BM, interlock release, error recovery, etc).
Uphold company policy and ground rules.
Manage on-shift escalations.
Maintain shift KPI and identify/implement actions for improvement.
Provide training, mentoring, performance improvement and career development to personnel on shift.
Coordinate activities/communication between Engineers and Technicians.
Ensure that documentation is properly updated and clear (SOPs, Certifications, PTPs, etc).
Drive continuous improvement activities on shift.
Manages, mentors, and trains staff
Prepares work schedules and assigns specific duties
Establishes and implements team or departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures, conferring with appropriate parties.
Determines staffing requirements in conjunction with Human Resources and participates in recruiting processes such as phone screening and interviewing

2 year college degree or technical school certification preferred
