Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is seeking an Integration & Systems Test Engineer 4 that has experience in the areas of software troubleshooting, baseline installations, test tool development, and systems integration. The program needs a motivated individual with excellent trouble shooting skills, attention to detail, and ability to work regularly in a lab environment. Responsibilities will include integration and test of COTS & software for multiple subsystems into a baseline, performing installation and checkout, and assisting in deliveries; develop detailed subsystem and system test procedures; perform subsystem integration and system level testing; support the execution of a variety of system level tests including throughput (stress), stability, external interface, as well as factory software integration tests (SWIT); generation of discrepancy reports; support to system design; and support to customers for interface definitions, integration environment, etc.

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline and 9 years of experience; 7 years of experience with a Masters; 4 years of experience with a PhD

- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance

- Background in task playback in an I&T environment as well as the architecture and functionality of I&T environments

- Candidate must have skills in the following areas: test procedures development, test automation and scripting, requirements verification, and system regression testing

Preferred Qualifications:

- Prior heritage mission experience, exposure to agile software development processes, and previous experience with automated testing

- Candidate experience with Virtualization products, ClearQuest/ClearCase, Unix, Linux, and automated testing COTS products are highly desired

- Ability to understand and communicate complex problems at different levels of detail, coordinating cross-program areas and with users and supplies

- Ability to decompose large, complex problems in components and envision their interactions

- Technical presentation skills

- Demonstrated ability to complete tasks with some direction and oversight
