Position Description: The Cardiovascular RN provides high quality patient care to the cardiac patient in accordance with the philosophy and policies of Northside Hospital. The Cardiovascular RN acts as a nursing resource as it relates to their area of responsibility, and will be a member of an all-RN team in our Pacemaker Clinic - Interpreting and diagnosing pacemaker functioning and notifying physician of results. Conducting routine pacemaker follow up in clinic and through trans-telephonic clinic and reprogramming as required.

Position Requirements: Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and have an active Georgia Registered Nurse license. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and ACLS certification required. Minimum of one (1) year experience involving the treatment of cardiac or critical care patients. Thorough knowledge of cardiac arrhythmia interpretation.
